Microfilaments are an innovative, eco-friendly and high-performance material.  Microfilament Nonwoven is a unique non-woven fabric that offers multiple applications in restoration.Nonwoven, this cloth is made of only one ultra-thin and very long thread, which allows it to trap water and dirt in a very effective way, without absorbing it. This microfilaments cloth’s thread is less than 0.1 decitex thick, that being equivalent to the hundredth of a hair.Thinner than a microfibre cloth and as absorbent as some blotters, it has many functions, all of which have yet to be discovered. Its softness, its durability and its absorption capacity make it an ideal material for conservation and many areas of restoration.

Unique microfilaments  comprising PET/PA polymers provide a soft, breathable, strong and smooth surface for fabric with a real textile feel.
